A Cessna plane crashed into a ravine during a training flight in the US state of Virginia due to pilot error.
A 23-year-old female instructor, Victoria Therese Isabelle Ljungman, was killed in the crash, while the training pilot and an unidentified passenger were seriously injured.
According to the investigation report, during the flight, the student pilot turned the plane at a dangerous angle, causing the single-engine Cessna 172 aircraft to shut down and the plane to fall about 100 feet at the airport in Newport Williamsburg, New Jersey. Crashed into the ditch.

An 18-year-old trainee pilot and his companion were seriously injured in the accident.
Ljingman is from Sweden who dreamed of becoming a commercial pilot and earned his license in March 2021 while studying at Hampton University in Virginia before earning his flight instructor license earlier this year.
