Pakistan win the tri-nation T20 series

Pakistan won the tri-nation T20 series by defeating New Zealand by 5 wickets, the green shirts achieved the target of 164 runs in the last over.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan and skipper Babar Azam led the effort to win the final match, after which the middle order also sated the fans’ complaints today.

The first loss to the national team in the fifth over was the wicket of Babar Azam for 29 runs. He scored 15 runs and was caught out by Bracewell.

The third batsman Shaun Masood could not do anything special and was dismissed for 19 runs. His wicket was taken by Bracewell in the 11th over.

Mohammad Rizwan was dismissed in the 12th over by Ash Sodhi, who was lbw for 34 runs.

The aggressive batting Haider Ali was dismissed by Tim Southee in the 16th over. The Pakistani batsman was caught by Chapman for 31 runs.

In the next over, Asif Ali scored 1 run and caught the Kiwi fielder.

Muhammad Nawaz of Pakistan remained not out with 38 runs and Iftikhar Ahmed 25 runs.

Muhammad Nawaz was adjudged player of the match for his excellent all-round performance. He also took a wicket in the match.

After finishing the match, Muhammad Nawaz said that I bat in the middle order in domestic cricket as well.

New Zealand’s Michael Braswell was awarded the man of the series award.

Earlier in the final match, Naseem Shah from Pakistan showed the way to the pavilion to the Cavaliers batsman Finn Allen in the first over.

In the fifth over of the match, Haris Roof bowled David Conoy who scored 14 runs.

After which Muhammad Nawaz took the third wicket of New Zealand on a total score of 97. He got Glenn Phillips caught out on the boundary line for 29 runs.

Pakistan spin bowler Shadab Khan broke the innings of New Zealand batsman Kane Williamson for 59 runs.

Fast bowler Naseem Shah took Chapman’s wicket for 158 in the 19th over. The Kiwi batter was dismissed for 25 runs. After which, on the very next ball, wicketkeeper Muhammad Rizwan ran out Jimmy Neesham for 17 runs.

Fast bowler Haris Rauf took the wicket of Ash Sodhi in the last over of the innings.

New Zealand scored 163 runs for 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

In the final of the tri-nation cricket tournament being played in Christchurch, Pakistan won the toss and decided to bowl first against New Zealand.

New Zealand captain Kane Williamson returned to the team while fast bowler Haris Rauf joined the national team in place of Muhammad Hasnain.
