Japan's diplomatic activities in Afghanistan

Japan has decided to start again diplomatic activities in Afghanistan after a year. As the Japanese Foreign Minister, the Japanese embassy in Kabul has started limited activities while establishing limited diplomatic relations with Afghanistan.

In the Tokyp a press conference, Japanese Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi said that the in the Kabul Japanese embassy is only carrying out official affairs.

More details cannot be disclosed due to security reasons, other matters will be considered after full diplomatic presence in Kabul.

Should be noted that Japan closed its embassy in Kabul after the Taliban control in the Afghanistan.
