Australia’s state-owned airline Qantas Air flew to mark 100 years since its first flight on the Charleyville to Cloncurry Longreach route.

On 1 November 1922, Qantas Air made its first commercial flight from Charleyville to Cloncurry Longreach, 100 years ago.

The special flight number QLK660D of the aircraft with registration number VH-QOT took off from Charlieville at 3:21 pm local time and landed at Longreach at 4:11 pm local time.

The inaugural flight of the cheapest airline “Fly Jinnah” departs from Karachi to Islamabad

Flight Radar has also issued a special notification in this regard.

Qantas Airways Limited is the flag carrier airline of Australia and the country’s largest airline by fleet size, international flights and international destinations.

It is the world’s third oldest airline still in operation, having been founded in November 1920.

Qantas Airways started international passenger flights in May 1935.
