Iran admits to supplying drones to Russia, Tehran says it supplied drones to Russia before the Russian attack on Ukraine.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdullahian says that several months before the war in Ukraine, a limited number of drones were provided to Russia.
He said that, however, the Western countries’ accusation of supplying drones to help Russia in the Ukraine war is wrong.
The Iranian foreign minister said that two weeks ago, Ukraine had agreed to discuss the allegations related to the use of Iranian drones in Ukraine, but Ukraine withdrew from the scheduled meeting at the last minute.
On the other hand, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has refrained from reacting to the Iranian Foreign Minister’s statement.
