Netherlands beat South Africa

In the important match of the ICCT Twenty World Cup, Netherlands upset South Africa by 13 runs.

After the defeat in the match, South Africa is out of the World Cup.

Chasing a target of 159 runs in the Group Two match played in Adelaide, South Africa managed to score 145 runs for 8 wickets in the allotted overs.

Earlier, in the first innings, the openers of the Netherlands showed a brilliant game.

Stephen Myburgh scored 37 runs, Tom Cooper 35 and Max O’Dowd scored 29 runs.

After the dismissal of 3 players, Colin Ackerman finally supported the team and remained unbeaten by playing an excellent innings of 41 runs off 26 balls.

Similarly, Netherlands scored 158 runs for the loss of 4 wickets and set a target of 159 runs to the Proteas team.
