Washington (AFP) Search engine Google has agreed to pay 39.2 million dollars to 40 states in the United States in a historic privacy case.
Google misled its users in these states by “location tracking”.
New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Plotkin said that Google made huge profits by providing data to advertisers against users’ wishes despite the location track’s overcontrol.
