Google Temporarily Suspends Carrier Paid Apps in Pakistan The Ministry of IT has confirmed the temporary suspension of Google’s Carrier Paid apps.
The IT Ministry says that the option to download the application from the mobile phone account has been temporarily suspended, there is only the option to download the application through credit card on the Google Play Store, this issue will be resolved within 2 weeks.
Officials person said that Pakistani Federal Minister of IT Aminul Haq has directed to resolve the matter as soon as possible.
The State Bank had decided to suspend the direct payments system.
According to IT Ministry say that the government had to pay 34 million dollars to Google, the government had decided to pay Google for one month.
