Russia announced a 35% tariff on some imported goods from “unfriendly countries”.
According to a report from Russia Today on the 10th, the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade announced a decision later on the 9th that the Russian government will impose a 35% tariff on some imported goods from “unfriendly countries”.

The goods involved include personal care products such as shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste and shaving cream and detergents imported from the US, UK, Canada, Australia and Poland. In addition, the 35% tariff policy also applies to civilian weapons and ammunition imported from the above-mentioned “unfriendly countries”. The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade pointed out that the listed products have corresponding substitute products in Russia.
