The Sharjah Police in the United Arab Emirates have arrested a group of foreigners involved in thefts in commercial centers.
According to Emirates Al-Youm, Sharjah Police said that an Asian group of five people were involved in thefts in commercial centers here.

Col. Faisal bin Nassar, deputy director of the Criminal Affairs Investigation Agency under the police, said that the accused have been detained based on evidence.
Faisal bin Nassar said that the suspects were identified based on evidence found in the commercial centers where the thefts took place. During interrogation, all five confessed to the incidents in the commercial centers.
Mobile sets, cash, valuable watches, laptops, computers and electronic devices were being stolen from commercial centers.
The accused have been handed over to the Public Prosecution for completion of legal proceedings.
