Train strike in France

As the French flock to trains over the holidays, more than 200,000 commuters find themselves in trouble due to a strike by rail workers.

According to report of “France 24”, this strike came as a protest against low wages, as hundreds of trains were canceled at a time when millions traditionally travel to attend family gatherings.

The National Railways Company “SNCF” said that the high-speed train service was the most affected by this strike, which was condemned by the French government, and called for travelers not to bear the consequences at this time of the year.
