A shooting incident has taken place in the market of Paris, the capital of France, in which two people were killed and four were seriously injured.
According to the French news agency AFP, a 60-year-old man opened fire in central Paris on Friday and was later arrested by police.
According to the police official, ‘the person who did the firing has been arrested along with the weapons, but nothing can be said about the motives behind the incident at present.’

“The suspect has been detained at the barber shop,” resident Emmanuel told AFP.
“The people there were in a very panicked state and were shouting to the police that the shooter was inside the barber shop.”
According to residents of the area, two people were seen lying on the ground inside the shop with injuries to their legs.
Another shopkeeper said that ‘seven to eight gun shots were heard after which panic spread and they locked themselves inside.’
“An investigation into the incident has been launched, a man aged between 60 and 70 has been arrested and is in police custody,” the prosecutor’s office in Paris said.
After the shooting incident, a wave of concern has once again spread among the citizens of Paris, who have been facing incidents of extremism since 2015.
It should be noted that there are occasional violent incidents between different gangs in Paris.
