More than 5 crore cases are pending in Indian courts, but instead of judicial reforms, a health and fitness center has been started for 3000 employees of the Supreme Court.
The health center was inaugurated in the presence of Chief Justice of the Indian Supreme Court Dhananjaya Yeswant.
The Supreme Court has also appointed two trainers, while separate exercise timings have been fixed for male and female employees.
The Chief Justice of Indian supreme court said that our employees work a lot to maintain the speed of work with the judges; in fact, these employees are the backbone of the Supreme Court.
The Chief Justice said that the health and fitness of these employees should be the main priority of the supreme court.
It may be recalled that in December last year, Law Minister Kiren Rijiju had said that the number of pending cases in the country would cross 50 million in two months.
