An Indian passenger ship was suddenly diverted to Uzbekistan after taking off from the Russian capital Moscow for India.
NDTV quoted police officials as saying that the plane was carrying 240 passengers and was scheduled to land at Goa’s Dabolim Airport at 4:00am on Saturday.
According to the police, the flight number (AZV 2463) of Russian Azur Air was diverted to Uzbekistan before entering Indian airspace.
He told news agency PTI that at 12:30pm, the director of Dabolim Airport received an email stating that a bomb had been planted in the said plane. After that, the direction of the ship was changed.
It should be noted that a few weeks ago, a flight from Moscow to Goa in India was taken down at the airport of Jamnangar in the state of Gujarat after a bomb threat.
