Beijing (NNI) Indian army has retreated in many border areas adjacent to China. Dozens of check posts have been emptied. According to media reports, PD Nitya, a senior police officer in the Ladakh region adjacent to China, has admitted in his report that India has vacated 26 out of 65 check posts in the region. He presented his report at the annual conference of top police officers in New Delhi, which was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. The report states that at present there are 65 check posts from Karakoram Pass to Chimmur, which have been regularly monitored but now we are no longer present at 26 of these 65 check posts due to BSF stationed there.
