The body of former military ruler Pervez Musharraf will be brought to Karachi from Dubai on Monday night by a special plane.
Tahir Hussain, the leader of All Pakistan Muslim League Sindh, while talking to Urdu News, said that the body of former President General Retired Pervez Musharraf will arrive in Karachi from Dubai on Monday night by a khaki special plane.
He said that his funeral prayer will be offered at the polo ground of Malir Cantt after noon prayer on Tuesday, February 7, while his burial will be done at the army cemetery. On this occasion, a large number of Pervez Musharraf lovers, including party officials and workers, will participate.
The preparations for the last rites of former President Pervez Musharraf in Karachi have also been completed. Extraordinary security arrangements have been made by law enforcement agencies at the place of funeral prayers and burials.
On the other hand, the spokesperson of MQM Pakistan says that MQM will fully participate in the last rites of Pervez Musharraf.
Talking to Urdu News, Ahsan Ghori said that a large number of workers including the important leaders of the party will participate in the funeral prayer of the former President of Pakistan, fulfilling the security rules.
Ahsan Ghori said that former President Pervez Musharraf has done exemplary work throughout the country including Karachi. MQM believes that credit for the journey of development in Karachi goes to Pervez Musharraf.
It should be remembered that former President General Retired Pervez Musharraf had gone to United Arab Emirates for treatment from Pakistan in 2016, where he was being treated in an American hospital in Dubai. The former president died on Sunday, February 5. The family decided to bring his dead body to Pakistan after consultation.
