The Abu Dhabi Airports Company in the United Arab Emirates has said that “from January 1 to December 31, 2022, 15.9 million people traveled through Abu Dhabi Airports.”
According to Emirates Al-Youm, Matarat Abu Dhabi Company stated that “15.9 million people traveled from Abu Dhabi International, Al Ain International, Al Batin Private Airport as well as Dilma Island Airport and Sayer Bani Yas Airport during 2022″.
This number of passengers is three times more than the number of passengers traveling through these five airports during 2021.
Abu Dhabi Airports says that “194,667 flights have departed from the five airports of Abu Dhabi during 2022”.
Abu Dhabi International Airport handled more than 4.78 million passengers during the fourth quarter of 2022, Abu Dhabi Airports Company said in a statement. These statistics are from October 1 to December 31, 2022. This number is double that of the fourth quarter of 2021.
