The world famous beauty pageant ‘Miss World’ will be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) this year.
According to Arab News, Miss World is set to come to the Middle East in 2023.
“I am delighted to announce that the 71st Miss World Festival will be held in the United Arab Emirates,” Miss World Limited Chairperson Julia Morley announced on photo and video sharing platform Instagram on Monday.
Julia Morley added that the Miss World Organization is unable to provide further details, including the date and venue, at this time.
The last Miss World pageant ceremony was held in March 2022 in Puerto Rico, where model Karolina Bilawska from Poland was crowned Miss World.
Karolina Belauska was crowned Miss World by Toni Ann Singh from Jamaica.
Pamala Serena represented the UAE in the beauty pageant held last year.
It should be noted that candidates who are unmarried, have no children and are between the ages of 17 and 27 can participate in this year’s competition in the UAE.
