Moscow, February 16 – More than 100 Russian soldiers were released from Ukrainian captivity, the Defense Ministry said.
Those released by planes will be taken to Moscow for treatment and rehabilitation.
Now all military personnel are provided with the necessary medical and psychological assistance.
The last known exchange of prisoners between Russia and Ukraine took place on 4 February. The Ministry of Defense then announced the release of 63 people. The department said in a statement that some of the military belonged to the “sensitive category” and were at large thanks to the mediation of the authorities of the United Arab Emirates.
