Indian cricketer Prithvi Shaw’s friend’s car has been attacked by unknown persons.
According to India Today, Oshiwara police have arrested eight people who attacked the car of a friend of the Indian team’s batsman Prithvi Shaw outside a five-star hotel in Mumbai.
The details of the incident are as follows: Prithvi Shaw went to a five-star hotel in Mumbai for dinner on Wednesday, when some unknown people wanted to take a selfie with him. After which he took a selfie with two people, but after a while, the same people. Came back again and demanded more selfies.

Asked for more selfies, the cricketer said, “They have come to eat, so don’t bother them,” after which the men objected further and Prithvi Shaw complained to the hotel manager. When the hotel manager asked them to leave the hotel, the mob attacked Prithvi Shaw’s friend’s car parked outside with a baseball bat.
Prithvi Shaw’s friend Ashish Sarendra Yadav says that the accused has broken the front and rear windows of his BMW car.
Ashish added that Prithvi Shaw was in that car, we didn’t want any more fight, so we sent him in another car, but the accused started chasing him too. When that car stopped at a petrol pump, a woman came and said give her 50,000 rupees and the matter will be resolved; otherwise she will file a false case against them.
Following the incident, a case has been registered at Oshiwara Police Station and the two accused who took the selfie have been identified as Sana alias Sapna Gill and Shubhit Thakur.
It may be noted that Prithvi Shaw was included in the squad for the three-match T20I series against New Zealand, but he could not play a match since then he is out of the Indian team.
