The northern part of the UK was hit by Storm Otto on the 17th. At present, there are still 2,000 households in Aberdeenshire whose power has not been restored. The center of the storm has left the UK and is moving northeast towards Scandinavia.

Storm Otto, with peak winds of 75mph to 80mph, has left more than 60,000 homes without power, the Met Office said. Affected by the storm, trains and flights in northern Scotland were canceled on the 17th. Power companies have now restored power to about 41,000 homes.
