Singer Sonu Nigam and his team were allegedly attack during a music event in Mumbai, India. But no one was injure in the attack.
According to Indian Express, on Monday night, Sonu Nigam along with his team reached a police station in Mumbai. Where they filed a report of the incident.
According to initial information, the alleged attack on singer Sonu Nigam and his team took place. After the singer refused to take a selfie with the son of a local politician, the report said.
According to Indian Express, Sonu Nigam’s team members could not recognize the local politician’s son. And tried to take him away from the singer, following which a clash broke out between the people accompanying the singer and the local politician’s supporters.
In a video that has gone viral on social media. A fight can be see on stage, but it is not clear how the fight escalated.
According to Indian media, the man fighting Sonu Nigam and his team members is the son of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s MPA Prakash Phatarpikar.
Prakash Phatarpekar told the Indian channel ‘Times Now’ that it was not an attack but a minor quarrel and I have apologized for it. My son did not do all this on purpose.
