Bollywood actor and director Satish Kaushik passed away at the age of 66.
According to Indian Express, Satish Kaushik died on Wednesday in New Delhi where he suffered a heart attack while driving. His body will be brought to Mumbai on Thursday.
Sateen Kaushik was born on 13th April 1956 and has acted in many landmark Hindi films including popular films like ‘Ram Lakhan’, ‘Jane Bhi Do Yaro’ and ‘Mr India’.
Satish Kaushik has also directed several films including ‘Roop Ki Rani Chorun Ka Raja’, ‘Prem’, ‘Hum Aap Ke Dil Mein Rahe Hai’ and ‘Tere Naam’.
The film industry is in shock at the news of his death and several people have offered their condolences.

Satish’s long-time friend and fellow actor Anupam Kher expressed his grief in a tweet saying, ‘I know death is a universal truth of this world but I never dreamed that I would die in my life. All this will have to be written with reference to my best friend Satish Kaushik.
45 years of friendship suddenly full stop!! Satish, life will not be the same without you.
Actress Kareena Kapoor also seemed heartbroken by the sudden death of Satish Kaushik. He wrote on Instagram that ‘I have something to say, we will meet. It’s heartbreaking Satish ji—remembering our time together.’
Sunil Shetty said in his tweet that today we have lost one of the best personalities of the film industry. His memory will be a blessing to all who knew and loved him. Heartfelt condolences to the family.
Actress Nahya Dhupia also condoled the death of Satish Kaushik in her tweet and said, “Thank you for the cinema and the laughter.” May your soul rest in peace.
