During a religious ceremony in India, several pilgrims fell into a well when the floor of a temple suddenly collapsed, and efforts are being made to pull them out.
According to a report by India Today, the incident took place at Shri Baleshwar Mahadev Temple in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, when a large number of pilgrims had gathered there.
It is said that the floor of the temple was built by placing a lantern over a well which broke due to high pressure.

A video of the incident has also surfaced in which people can be seen running outside the temple.
The report said that after the incident, rescue operations have started and six people have been pulled out of the well.
Local people say that despite the incident being reported, ambulances and fire brigade vehicles could not reach the spot.
NDTV says that more than 25 people are still in the well and efforts are being made to pull them out.
Accidents during religious events in India have happened before, and on January 23 this year, four people were killed and five injured when a crane fell on pilgrims during a ceremony at the Drupathi temple in the state of Tamil Nadu.
According to media reports, the incident took place at the Draupati temple in Ranipat area.
Eyewitnesses said that the idols were being carried by the crane while at that time eight people were also riding on the front part of the crane.
The pilgrims below were holding garlands to the people on the crane and it was then that the several feet tall crane lost its balance and fell on top of the pilgrims below.
