A video of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) member Jadev Lal Nath in the state assembly of the Indian state of Tripura has gone viral on social media, in which he is seen watching an immoral video on his mobile phone.
According to Indian channel NDTV, people are criticizing Jadev Lal Nath after his video went viral on social media.
Jadev Lal belongs to Bagbasa area of Tripura and the video of him going viral is reportedly from when the assembly was in session.

According to NDTV, in a video shot by someone sitting near the BJP MLA, he can be seen watching an ‘indecent’ video clip on a mobile phone.
According to reports in the Indian media, after this video went viral, the BJP has sought an explanation from Jadev Lal Nath.
It should be noted that earlier in 2012, two BJP ministers from the state of Karnataka also had to resign from their seats after a similar video surfaced.
However, after some time, Laxman Swadi and CC Patil were declared innocent after an inquiry and their party membership was also restored.
