In Saudi Arabia, the Saudi family has been organizing Iftar for the fasting people for the last 8 years in the mosque of Sakaka city.
Talking to Saudi channel Al-Akhbariya, a member of the family said that “the mosque was built by his father and from the beginning he organized Iftar in Ramadan.”
From that time till today, iftar table is organized every Ramadan. For the last 8 years, iftar is going on.
According to an estimate, more than 7,000 people have benefited from this iftar table so far.
The iftar table is organized in the outer courtyards of the mosque. The guests are brought to the table with great honor and respect, after which the Iftar items are kept.
After breaking the fast, the guests are treated to ‘Kabsa’ (Arabic biryani and broiled chicken) before the prayer. Apart from this, other Asians are also kept.
