Russian authorities have arrested a young anti-war woman, Daria Tripova, on charges of murdering Vladan Tatarsky, a blogger who supports the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Pro-Ukraine blogger Vladan Tatarsky was killed and more than 30 others were injured in an attack at a cafe in the Russian city of St. Petersburg on Sunday.
According to the American news agency AP, the Investigative Committee of Russia and the National Counter-Terrorism Committee have said that behind the attack are supporters of Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny.
The Investigative Committee has published a video of 26-year-old Daria Tripova. In the video, it is said that the government has anti-government views and is a supporter of the Anti-Corruption Foundation.
The Russian government banned the foundation of Alexei Navalny.
Officials say the attack is being seen as a “high-profile murder” that involved several people in the planning.
The latest attack on a St. Petersburg cafe follows the car bombing last August of Darya Dogina, the daughter of a prominent ultranationalist intellectual. Russia also blamed the attack on Ukraine.
