Dozens of people have been injured after a passenger train derailed in the Netherlands.
The train derailed after hitting construction equipment on the line between The Hague and Amsterdam near the village of Voorschoten, French news agency AFP reported, citing emergency services in the Netherlands.
The statement said that “dozens of injured people are being provided medical assistance at the scene and are being taken to the hospital if needed.”
According to emergency services, rescues are working to make the passengers safe.
