In Japan, an explosion occurred during a ceremony in which Prime Minister Fumio Kishida was speaking.
The French news agency AFP, citing local media, said that the incident took place on Saturday during a ceremony in the Wakayama region of eastern Japan. After the explosion, smoke and chaos spread everywhere, but the security personnel escorted the Prime Minister out of the ceremony after taking him into the security guard’s custody.

Other media channels of Japan’s official broadcaster NH say that Prime Minister Fumio Kishida is safe and one person has been detained after the explosion.

More details of the incident have not been revealed.
It should be remembered that on July 8 of last year, former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was shot dead during a speech. An armed person was also arrested at the scene.
