In the third match of the five-match T20 series, New Zealand defeated Pakistan by four runs after a thrilling encounter.
Batting first, the New Zealand team scored 163 runs for the loss of five wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Chasing the target of 164 runs, the Pakistani team was bowled out for 159 runs in the allotted 20 overs.
Pakistan did not get off to a good start. Captain Babar Azam got out after scoring one run.
Rizwan was run out after scoring six runs.
Pakistan’s third wicket, taken by Saeem Ayub’s Giri Jinhoon, scored 10 runs. Fakhar Zaman was stumped for 20 runs. Later, Iftikhar Ahmed scored 60 runs while playing an aggressive inning.
On behalf of New Zealand, captain Tom Latham played a brilliant innings of 64 runs.

New Zealand suffered their second loss for 56 runs when Will Young was caught off Shadab for 17 runs.
New Zealand’s third wicket fell for 121 runs when Daryl Mitchell scored 33 runs and was hit by Shaheen Shah Afridi. New Zealand suffered their fourth loss in the form of Tom Latham, who was caught out by Haris Rauf.
On behalf of Pakistan, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf got two wickets each, and Shadab Khan dismissed one player.

On Saturday, Pakistan defeated New Zealand by 38 runs in the second match to take a 2-0 lead in the series.
