After New York comes Tokyo, Japan, and the San Francisco Bay Area, another city in America. There are 290,000 millionaires in Tokyo and 285,000 millionaires in the San Francisco Bay Area.
In this report, 97 cities from nine regions of the world, including Africa, Australia, East Asia, Europe, the Middle East, North America, South Asia, and Southeast Asia, have been included.
The richest cities on the list are in the US, including New York, the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, and Chicago.
China’s two largest cities, Beijing and Shanghai, are also among the richest countries in the world.
According to the report, the British city of London has already reached the fourth place, where there are 258 thousand millionaires. London had the most millionaires in 2000, but in the last 20 years it has dropped to fourth place.
In fifth place is Singapore, where there are 240 thousand millionaires.
