The investigation into the death of Indian actress Jaya Khan has been completed, and the verdict in the case will be pronounced on Friday.
According to Indian media, a special court in Mumbai will pronounce the verdict on Jaya Khan’s suicide case tomorrow.
Jaya Khan was found dead at her home on June 3, 2013, and actor Aditya Pancholi’s son Sooraj Pancholi was also alleged to be involved in the incident.
How did Jaya Khan die?
On June 3, 2013, actress Jaya Khan allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in her house on the outskirts of Mumbai.
After the actress’s death, her sister had a six-page note from the room, which also mentioned the bitterness between Jaya and her boyfriend Sooraj Pancholi.
On the basis of this letter Suraj Pancholi was arrested by the Mumbai Police on charges of inciting the actress to commit suicide, after which he was released on bail by the Mumbai High Court on 1 July 2013.
After this, Jaya Khan’s mother Rabia Khan requested the Bombay High Court to transfer the case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
He had adopted the position in the application that ‘his daughter did not commit suicide but she was murdered.’
In this regard, in 2014, the Bombay High Court handed over the case to the CBI for investigation.
According to the chargesheet presented in December 2015, the CBI had charged Sooraj Pancholi under Section 306 for inciting Jaya Khan to commit suicide.
Rabia Khan had told the CBI court that ‘Sooraj Pancholi used to subject Jaya Khan to physical and mental violence.’

Suraj Pancholi, on the other hand, submitted a 313-page statement before the court in which he contended that the “investigation and charge sheet against him were fabricated.”
He had also said that “prosecution witnesses testified against him against the complainant, Rabia Khan, the police, and the CBI.”
According to Indian media, Jaya Khan’s mother didn’t seem too optimistic a day before the decision, but she said in a soft tone, “I am with my daughter spiritually; I don’t know what the decision will be.” “We stand with the truth.’
On the other hand, Sooraj Pancholi’s mother, Zareena Wahab, has said that we waited for 10 years for the decision. This time was tormenting for my son. All this time, we were confident that God would do justice to our son.

He further says that when my son looks at me, I feel his pain. I can’t look into his eyes. I feel helpless. I know my son is innocent. It has been 10 years, and I am sure that justice will be done to my son because he is innocent.
It should be noted that Jaya Khan started his career with the film ‘Neshbad,” released in 2007. Amitabh Bachchan was also involved in this film.
After that, he also played important roles in Aamir Khan’s films ‘Gajni,” released in 2009, and ‘Housefull,” released in 2010.
Suraj Pancholi is the son of famous Bollywood actor Aditya Pancholi.
