Hotel managers in the UAE, including Dubai, say that hotel business has increased by 30% since the beginning of this year. This has surpassed the turnover during 2019.
According to Emirates Daily, on the occasion of participating in the ‘Arabian Travel Market Exhibition’, hotel managers said that hotel bookings have increased to a remarkable extent this year. The revenue of hotels has increased from 10 to 30 percent. It is expected that during the second half of this year, the rate of growth in hotel revenues will increase further.
Ayman Bakosh, Sales Manager at Atlantis Dubai, said, “From the beginning of this year, bookings in hotels in Dubai have increased significantly. Compared to 2019, tourists have spent 25 percent more. The proportion of tourists spending on restaurants, hotel facilities, and various hotel institutions has increased.
Ayman Bakosh says that people from more than 187 countries have booked hotels in Dubai in the past few days. Among them, tourists from Russia, Britain, and European countries are at the top.
