Ukraine says it has shot down 36 Iranian-made drones sent by Russia.
According to the British news agency Reuters, President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Thursday that the night between Wednesday and Thursday was difficult.
He appreciated the Air Force’s timely actions against drones.

President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote on the Telegram messaging app that the enemy used 36 (witness) drones to terrorise Ukraine. No one has reached their target.
Since October last year, Moscow has been regularly sending drones to target targets.
The Air Force of Ukraine has said that “the enemy was possibly trying to target important installations and military institutions in the western part of the country.”

According to the Ukrainian military, Russia used Iranian-made Shahid drones in the attacks.
The head of the military administration said that Kiev was attacked by drones several times, but all the drones were shot down.
He said that this is the 12th drone attack on Kiev this month.
