‘Hate Blacks’, Florida gunman kills three

According to US authorities, a white assailant shot and killed three black people in a store in Florida because of racism.
According to the AP news agency, after targeting three black people, the attacker also shot himself.
The incident took place in Jacksonville, Florida.

Two men and one woman were killed in the shooting, Jacksonville Police Officer TK Waters said during a news conference.
He said the assailant sent a letter to federal law enforcement officials and a media outlet that, upon review, revealed that the assailant “hated black people.”

They further said that the action of the attacker was individual. And that there was no evidence that he was part of any organisation.
According to police officer TK Waters, the shooter was in his 20s and was carrying a Glock pistol. And a semi-automatic rifle with a swastika insignia.

He was wearing a bulletproof vest. The assailant had also been involved in a domestic violence incident in 2016. And had gone to a psychiatric hospital against his will.
Authorities have not yet released the name of the shooter.
